Windows Server 2003

The good news is that Lightning/2000 will work with either the Boltek PCI card or the LD-250 under Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista.

But there is a tiny catch: the version of the installer software (InstallShield Delphi edition) that we are using does not recognize Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista as a valid operating system.

To install Lightning/2000 under either of these operating systems, you only need to copy the "Lightning2000" installation folder from the CD (or ZIP file) into the "Program Files" folder on your computer.

If you need to install Lightning/2000 under this operating system, send us an email or give us a call and we can get you set up with a minimum of effort.

Though the original Boltek device driver for the PCI card can be installed in Windows Vista, the installation of the new driver is easier. v4.4 of Lightning/2000 utilizes the latest device driver.
